LeoVegas Group has announced a partnership with Premier League football club Wolverhampton Wanderers FC for the upcoming 2023/24 season. This collaboration aligns with LeoVegas Group’s global sports betting ambitions as they focus on sports betting internationally. The LeoVegas logo will appear on the training kit and LED perimeter advertising during matches. Sam Behar, director of UK/Ireland and global sponsorship at LeoVegas Group, expressed pride in partnering with Wolves and looks forward to the partnership beginning with the LeoVegas brand on the training kit during their match against Liverpool at Molineux.
This announcement follows LeoVegas Group’s successful partnerships with football giants such as Manchester City FC and FC Internazionale Milano. Additionally, their Nordic sports betting brand, Expekt, has become the Official Betting Partner for the Danish top football league, 3F Superliga. Russell Jones, general manager for marketing and commercial growth at Wolves, expressed delight in securing this partnership and praised LeoVegas’ commitment to responsible gambling.
LeoVegas Group’s international recognition has grown significantly since being acquired by MGM Resorts International. The company also powers BetMGM’s UK brand. In another development, LeoVegas acquired a majority stake in game developer Push Gaming Holding Limited, aiming to enhance their content production capabilities and support international growth plans. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
